On my recent trip to my family's village in Poland, I scanned a concentration camp located on the ruins of a church razed by the Nazis. Through a combination of historical research and drone photogrammetry, I was able to piece together crimes of the holocaust that occurred in my grandparents' hometown. It is vital that we use technology to help inform the next generation by preserving historical sites before they fade from memory. Don't let what happened in Glinno Wielkie become a footnote.
